The following information is a change to the previously posted handout regarding the Learn to Skate and Scooters program. PLEASE NOTE THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND ARE AS FOLLOWS:

LTS Tuesdays 5:00 - 5:40
         Saturdays 10:20 - 11:00

Scooters Tuesdays 5:40 - 6:20
                 Saturdays 11:00 - 11:40

Welcome Back! I hope you all had an enjoyable summer and are excited for the upcoming Redwing season. Please open the attached article to find ALL important information regarding coaches, camps, fees, tryouts and dates. See you all at the rink!

·         Vice Chairman - Lisa Potgieter, 1^st Year on Board, 5 Years in Club, 1 Peewee

·         Secretary - Roger Lucas, 1^st Year on Board, 5 Years in Club, 1 Squirt, 1 Mite and one LTS

·         Registrar - JD Lapple, 1^st Year on Board. 3 Years in club, 1 Squirt

·         Equipment Director - Denise Benages, 2^nd year on Board. 3 Years in club, 1 Squirt

·         Marketing Director - Rob Hutson, 1^st year on Board, 3 years in club, 2 Mites, 1 LTS

·         General Manager - Marcia Cooley, 1^st year on Board. 5 years in Club, 1 Peewee, 1 Squirt

We are also looking for members to volunteer to join the following committees that we are forming pursuant to your club's bylaws. We hope this will help improve the transparency and effectiveness of your club, and frankly we could use the help.

Below are the committees and the board members that are participating in each committee. Each committee must have a Chairman, so if in addition to serving on the committee, you would like to serve as the Chairman, please let the designated board member know via email.

·         Finance - Oversee financial matters of organization. JD Lapple (registerrho.yahoo.com).

·         Facilities - Oversee maintenance and improvements to home ice arena and develop plans for improvement.  Roger Lucas (rlucas0017@msn.com)

·         Support & Development - Raise funds to supplement fees and provide improvements, Rob Hutson (Robhutson@aol.com).

·         Tournament - Establish and administer Hockey Tournaments. Rob Hutson (Robhutson@aol.com)

·         Election - Administer all organization elections. Roger Lucas, (rlucas0017@msn.com)

·         Rules & Ethics - Interpret and apply the Rules and Ethics of Organization. Lisa Potgieter (lpotgieter@alpholdings.com).

There are a couple of areas that we need immediate help with, those are:

·         Uniforms and Spiritwear, We need a couple of volunteers to head up this project with Denise Benages (dbenages@hrmidwest.com). This is a time consuming and important task and can’t get done without support from our membership.  We would also like to ask if someone sews and would be willing to help in the summer to mend uniforms and change numbers.
