Dolphin Families,

The Dolphin Swim Team would first like to apologize for the start of practice on Thursday evening and the scheduling error made by the City of Brentwood for our rental time. Unfortunately, we do rent the facility from them and have no control over the lifeguard scheduling. With that said, here is some clarification as to the whole facility operation. The pool is a jointly owned facility between Heritage High School and the City of Brentwood. The high school has first priority on use. The school can make any changes they want to our existing rental agreement for any school function or school sports program use. The City rents out the facility to various groups/teams the remainder of the time.

This brings us to this Tuesday night. A week or two ago, the school staff had reserved the pool from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on May 21st (Tuesday) for a school function. We were not told about this until last Wednesday. As a result, we put in a request to keep our practice on Tuesday from 6-8:30 pm. We have been approved for it. So on Tuesday, our schedule will revert to the schedule we started the season with.

Tuesday Only Practice Schedule:
6 & Under - 6:00-6:30
7-8 - 6:00-6:45
9/10 & 11/12 Bs - 6:30-7:30
11/12 As & 13&Up - 7:15-8:30

Also, the practice schedule changes on Monday and will be in effect for Thursday too.

Monday & Thursday Practice Schedule:
6 & Under - 5:00-5:45
7-8 - 5:00-6:00
9/10 & 11/12 Bs - 5:45-7:00
11/12 As & 13&Up - 7:00-8:30

Finally, remember that Wednesday is our Time Trials Meet. This may be all confusing, but it is out of our hands and we are trying to keep you all informed as best we can. This could not have happened at a more critical time in our schedule.

5/22 (Wednesday - Home Time Trials)
4:30pm - 9:30pm

5/29 (Wednesday - First Meet vs Pinole)
