14U and 10U Brea All-Star are Foothills Tournament Champions!!!

Congratulations to the 14U and 10U All-Stars. The two teams left Glendora Monday, May 28th, as Pride of the Foothills Tournament Champions!!! Great going, Girls!!! And Great Going, Brea!!! 

Above is a photograph of the 10U team, which defeated Sierra Madre, 5-4, in the championship game. The all-star team won four straight games to take home the title.

Most of the 2012 softball season came to a close Monday and BGS wants to congratulate all the girls and say thank you to our coaches and volunteers. Here are the season-ending results. The 14U division will be determined on Satuday at Fullerton.

Hi Softball families,
 
It's time for nominations for next year BGS board. If you would like to be part of a program that helps the Brea community and provides a fun and safe inviornment for young softball players, it's time to become a board member. You can also nominate a friend for one of the positions. Forms will be at the snack shack from April 18th to April 27th and elections will be held on April 28th.

Opening Day

Hi Softball Families,

 Opening Day is less than a week away!!! The girls are practicing real hard and we look forward to a fun and entertaining season. BGS would like to remind anyone who is coaching a BGS team, working with the girls at pratice or plans to sit in the dugout, needs to fill out an ASA background check form. Please head to the tab on the left that reads background forms and follow the directions.

Managers' Clinic

Managers,
 
Don't forget about our clinic, Saturday Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tamarack Park.
 The meeting is mandatory for all managers and coaches are encouraged to attend.
 Some of the topics include pratice tips, rules and manager survival tips. Managers will also pick up equipment bags at the end of the clinic.
