JIM CAPY

Veteran Head Coach Jim Capy returns for his 2nd stint with the Beavers. Capy coached the Beavers from 2004-06.

In that time he had a record of 47 wins, 42 losses and 5 ties. In 2004-05 he lead the Beavers to 27-18-1 record with a 594% winning percentage which currently stand as a Beaver record.

Prior to coaching the Beavers, Capy spent a half a season with the now defunct Soo Indians and from 2000-04 lead the Soo Thunderbirds to four consectutive trips to the NOJHL finals and 1 Dudley-Hewitt Cup.

Over the course of his 6 1/2 years in the NOJHL, 60 of his players have moved on to a higher level,  including 22 to Division 1 schools in the United States.

He also spent 8 seasons coaching in the MNHL "AAA" midget league in the United States, considered one of the premier midget leagues in North America with the Soo Indians. In 1994-95 he lead them to a league championship.
