PRO HOCKEY
Nick played defence for the Beavers during the 2002-03 season. He was a 7th round pick of the Barrie Colts in the OHL. He went on to have a stellar career in the OHL and is currently playing professionally for Asiago HC in the Italian Elite League. Asiago were the 2009-10 Italian Elite League Champions. 2006-07: Saw action in 25 games in debut season with the Mavericks...Tallied first career goal Dec. 8 in 3-3 tie with the University of Denver...Assisted on a goal by Kurtis Kisio in 2-1 loss in Mankato vs. the University of Minnesota Dec. 2.

Thomas played 2 1/2 seasons with the Beavers. He holds almost all single season and career point totals. In 2003-04 he led the NOJHL in scoring. Over 4 seasons at Guelph he had 44 goals and 40 assist for 84 points in 93 games.
