Please note the highly regarded Lady Bucs softball program who defeated the Bryan Vikings, 1-0 (in 15 innings) to become the undefeated 34-0 Texas AAAAA and National Champions of 2000.

2005 Lady Bucs take Elkins to the limit- Congrats to Coach Laura Oltman and the Lady Bucs on a great year. Lady Bucs finish 25-7 as Elkins squeaks by 3-2 in bottom of seventh on a suicide bunt. Brittany Cuevas (16-4) struck out five of the first nine Elkins batters, including the side in the second inning. Overall, Cuevas struck out eight and allowed two earned runs on five hits. Elkins didn't get a hit in the first three innings and six through nine Elkins hitters were 0-for-8 with five strikeouts going into the final inning.
