The Brazoswood Class of 2005 had a star signee in Matt Vern who committed to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. TCU is coached by Jim Schlossnagle. To visit Horned Frogs Baseball, click HERE.
TCU plays at brand new Lupton Stadium/Williams-Reilly Field. Baseball America ranked the Frogs' 2005 recruiting class as the third best in the nation behind Texas and Arizona State respectively.
On an interesting note, TCU's 2005 roster featured regional greats such as Brazosport's Tyler Kersten, Jason Troth of Sugar Land Austin, and a trio of former Elkins Knights: Matt Carpenter, Chad Huffman, and Spencer Jackson.

The Class of 2004 saw three Bucs commit to various Texas colleges and universities.
Originally, pitcher- Kyle Watson and catcher- Kevin Croft committed to Navarro Junior College in Corsicana with Coach Skip Johnson, while Kevin attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Both are now at SFA.
