Rich founded the Highwood Braves in 2000 after coaching for a number of years with the now-defunct Lake County Chiefs. Over the past 10 years, the Braves program has grown from 1 team to 12 teams with the possibility of further expansion in the future. Rich’s latest full-time team concluded a very successful four-year run with 23 tournament and league championships along with strong showings in the Cooperstown National Tournament of Champions, the Elite Battle in the South, and in Omaha. Along with running the Braves program, Rich is also the Owner/Director of the Glenbrook Sports Academy.
 DOUG SCOTT
Doug is a long time Northbrook resident with deep coaching experience extending from junior college to youth baseball with over 10+ years of coaching for both Northbrook and the Braves. In addition, Doug works as a baseball instructor at Glenbrook Sports Academy as well as a coach at Loyola Academy in Wilmette. His Braves’ teams have notched several tournament victories over the last several years including Cooperstown in 2006 and the Mid-Suburban Baseball League (MSBL) Championship in 2007.
