Mission Statement

The mission of the Brandon Leaguerettes is to provide a safe and competitive environment for young players to learn and enjoy the games of fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball. The Brandon Leaguerettes organization was established in 1971 with the dual purpose of developing a quality recreational program for young women while striving to foster positive personal growth. Dedicated coaches and volunteers will facilitate our athletes’ growth through step-wise development of softball skills, instilling core life values of character, integrity, confidence, self-esteem and sportsmanship. Our teams will promote our values both on and off the field. On the field, we will strive to do our best while, off the field, we will strive to be an outstanding community citizen. In all situations, we will represent our league and our community with the utmost respect. There can be no victory without integrity.

Brandon Leaguerettes goal
To provide Brandon and its neighboring communities a positive and safe environment for girls ages 5-18 years of age an equal opportunity to play softball; To honor the game by encouraging good sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical well-being, while developing the fundamental skills of softball; And, to ensure that all players are treated as valued
team members while building lasting relationships and having FUN!!

Code of Conduct

In addition to our mission statement, Brandon Leaguerettes Softball has instituted a zero tolerance policy on poor sportsmanship. Poor sportsmanship includes, but is not limited to; yelling at umpires, players, coaches, board members or spectators, using inappropriate language or gestures, any actions that can be construed as a threat to another person or that, through aggressive intent or recklessness, may result in injury, and any public behavior that contributes to an atmosphere of conflict at the field or park in connection with a Leaguerettes game or event. The zero tolerance policy is in effect for players & coaches as well as parents and other spectators. The umpire is in control of the game & should be treated respectfully. Judgment calls should not be challenged or disputed. The good sportsmanship code extends to the treatment of players, coaches, umpires, board members & spectators
