Brandon Goes "American"

2009 Division Alignments Set

The NYFL held the draw for Division Assignments recently and the Brandon Jr. Blackhawks find themselves in the American Division. Divisions are picked by "blind draw" while franchises with multiple teams are placed in opposing divisions.

The League is working on putting the schedule together and it should be available by the end of the week. Unfortunately, due to economic conditions, some franchises had to contract and there are an odd number of teams at the JV level which may lead to an additional "bye" week.

Brandon will welcome Oxford to the NYFL with a scrimmage the second week of practice. The Jr. Wildcats will come to Varsity Field on Friday, August 14th as both teams prepare for the opening of the 2009 season.

A wearables order form is available via the link below and Cheerleaders are still needed at all levels while football is now full.

BJB Board Meeting
The next BJB Board Meeting is Tuesday, July 14th, 7-9pm, in the upstairs meeting room at Fire Station #1 in downtown Ortonville.
