**VOLUNTEERS**
Just as with other community sports programs, the success of Eastside Little League is directly tied to parental involvement. ESLL is an all-volunteer program where our kids can learn, play and compete with other youths with similar interests and is dependent on all parents participating and making a contribution toward the accomplishment of the League's goals. Parent participation is necessary and essential to the success of the program. All parents must volunteer some time during the season. Parent participation may take many forms.
There are many volunteer opportunities available such as coaching, scorekeeping, umpiring, acting as the team parent, or helping with field preparation, maintenance and clean-up. There are additional opportunities to volunteer by helping with one of our annual activities such as the Opening Day Ceremonies, Family Day, End of Season Tournaments, All-Stars, or you can sponsor a team by making a monetary contribution. When your team's coach or team parent approaches you to volunteer some of your time to the success of your team and the League, please do so enthusiastically - and keep in mind that without our parent volunteers the League could not exist.
**All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and background check before helping at any event, practice or game.
