Q. Does putting a bowling ball in the oven help take the oil out of all bowling balls?
A. Please! Do not put your bowling balls in the oven. You most likely will just ruin them. If you want to leach out the oil, take them to a pro shop and have them use the rejuvenator. The heat is controlled and they will not hurt the ball. Also, you could try the dishwasher. The water is hot, but not too hot, and the oil that comes out is washed off with the detergent. This has worked fine for me. If you take of the top rack you can do 4 bowling balls at the same time.
