We accordingly associate ourselves with diamonds because we want to counter that misconception; Diamonds are strong and everlasting; natural and brilliant...and so are all women.

The Lady Souljahs of James Bowie High School Arlington, TX National Step Show Alliance The National Step Show Alliance (NSSA) is a 4 year old 501(c)3 non-profit organization created by alumni members of the Black Greek council in the fall of 2005. Founded in Nashville, Tennessee the NSSA has worked with youth and Greek organizations in the "stepping community" across the country to strengthen appreciation of the art form. Through step leagues, certification, workshops, and events the NSSA focuses on growing the art form - especially among youth step teams. The growing prevalence of Childhood obesity is a growing concern, especially in the African-American community. The NSSA is using the popularity of step to provide a format for weekly exercise.   |
