Bourne Pop Warner is proud to have a long history with the town of Bourne and assist in the development of young football players and cheerleaders. Our program has generated a lot of interest for the coming season but this interest does not reflect our registration numbers. Many players and cheerleaders have signed up during early registration events and more have voiced interest in the program. Pop Warner requires a minimum number of participants for each team…this process ensures the safe development of skills and understanding the game of football. Cheerleading also requires a minimum participation allowing the ability to learn necessary physical and team building skills.

Bourne Pop Warner plans to hold an additional registration event on Saturday June 9 from 9am to 12pm. The number of players and cheerleaders who sign up will determine the fate of the 2012 season. The organization understands the current economic climate has influenced reduced enrolment for our and many other organized youth sporting programs. We plan to continue working with families in any manner necessary including scholarship opportunities, payment plans, or other processes that will aid in increasing our registration numbers.

So please join the first phase of a Super Bowl winning football and championship cheerleading program. Bourne Pop Warner is proud to work with Bourne High School’s championship winning football coaching team under the direction of Coach McIntyre and newly appointed championship winning cheerleading coach Collette Lohr! Please contact program registrar Judy Raftery at Irishraft5@comcast.net to indicate plans on attending our final registration event on June 9^th. If not enough interest is indicated to Judy the registration event will be suspended.
