The 2008 Bossier Little League Annual Meeting is coming up on Tuesday, October 14th and all Bossier Little League parents, coaches, managers, umpires and friends are invited!

This informative meeting, which is being held at the league office, is your chance to find out about the overall health and direction of your Bossier Little League!

In addition to reviewing the leagues financial reports and state of the league - this is also the time of the year that the new board members are elected for the upcoming season!

As you probably already know, Bossier Little League is an all volunteer organization of parents, friends and fans of young baseball & softball players. Without dedicated volunteers willing to give of their time, effort and sometimes even their own money, there would be no local Little League for our kids.

You're encouraged to consider running for a spot on the 2009 Bossier Little League Board of Directors! Remember - there is NO League without volunteers!

Those who would like to "Self Nominate" themselves are encouraged to contact either Robyn Waxley (rwaxley5@bellsouth.net) or Matt Nycum (mattnycum@bossierlittleleague.com) and let us know you'd be willing to help out to make sure your child has a place to play! We'll need your Name, Address, Phone Numbers, email address, etc, submitted to us before October 13th to be included on the ballot!

And not to scare anyone off, but the league needs "do'ers" on the board - so please volunteer only if you're able to actually "pitch in" and help out with all the chores. Every organization has plenty of "Idea" folks, and we're no different, but we're hoping to get some more "workers" for the upcoming season to help balance the workload!

While we'd love to have everyone attend the meeting, attendance at the annual meeting is not necessary to be on the ballot.
