Bordentown Little League Baseball/Softball: My Site News: Baseball and Softball clinic opportunities now available

Typically, November through February is not thought of as "prime" baseball or softball time. However, players that use this time to continue to practice are that far ahead of the game when the season starts.  We have made a large commitment over the years to provide opportunities to your child(ren) to work on aspects of their game during the off-season. Below is a listing of opportunities that exist.

Softball Clinic:  Once again, Bordentown Little League has secured the gymnasium at Divine Word Missionaries on Park Street on Saturday morning to host a softball clinic.  This is an 11 week program that works on all aspects of softball.  The clinic starts on Decmber 5th. Baseball Hitting and Fielding Clinics:  Hitting and fielding clinics will be held in the Indoor Practice facility at Gilder Park for boys ages 8 thru 12.  There are two sets of sessions for hitting (Mondays starting 11/23 or Thursdays starting 11/19), and one session for fielding (Tuesday nights starting 11/24). Agility & Strength Training: This is a new clinic being offered to boys ages 10 thru 12. As players get older, the game becomes faster and players need to adapt to these changes. This training session is a 6 week program (3 nights a week) that will provide exercises and drills that are designed to make players stronger, more flexible and quicker.  These training sessions are being held in the Indoor Practice facility at Gilder Park.
