Give Poverty The Boot: Welcome

Give Poverty The Boot

Hi, my name is Zachary and I created this charity when I was 12.  I have been enjoying and playing soccer since I was 6.  I noticed that I had a lot of old soccer boots (shoes), shin pads, jerseys, shorts, gloves and socks gathering up that I only used for one season.  I have created this website to help collect all the used or outgrown soccer equipment that you may have gathering in basements, drawers, boxes etc., and deliver them to underprivileged children around the world so they can enjoy and play soccer too. So I am asking for your help to...

Give Poverty the Boot!

Will You Help Me.... Just Ask Your Friends, Your Team Members And Your Family To Clean Out Their Closets, Garages & Basements And Send Their Soccer Gear To My Youth Soccer Support Project.

GPTB UPDATE: In December of 2009 GPTB sent over 1,000 lbs. of uniforms, boots and balls to Haiti via the Helping Hands for Haiti organization.  GOOD NEWS!.... The entire shipment was not affected by the horrible earthquake ofJanuary 2010. As a matter of fact I have been informed that the girls Under 17 National team is using our donated uniforms.(See picture below.)

GO HAITI GO! Thanks to all!

GPTB UPDATE: DEC-2011-GPTB has partnered with Extreme Kicks Sports Centre in Richmond Hill ON, as a collection centre and storage place. Thanks again to Angela, Mel, Sam & Willy for all your help.
