WARRIORS FOOTBALL TEAMS STOPPED BY WILDCATS
In a reversal of fortunes from last week, the 7th and 8th grade football Warriors both found themselves on the short end of the score against the Whitewater Wildcats on Tuesday afternoon. The 7th grade Warriors were blanked by a score of 40-0, while the 8th grade team fell 32-6.
With the wins, both Whitewater teams took solid hold of first place in the FCMSAL standings.
Both J.C. Booth teams will look to bounce back in a big way next Tuesday as they take on Fayette Middle School. The 8th grade team will have plenty of motivation, as a win would guarantee them at least a No. 3 seed in the upcoming FCMSAL playoffs.

SOFTBALL WARRIORS' EXTRA-INNING EXPLOSION DOWNS RISING STARR, 6-1
|
The J.C. Booth Softball Warriors battled to a 1-1 tie in regulation against the Rising Starr Lady Panthers on Friday, setting up an extra-inning "International Tie Breaker" as called for under FCMSAL rules.
In the tiebreaker a J.C. Booth baserunner -- in this case, Sydney Ross -- was placed on second base to start the extra inning. Amanda Lindsey drew a walk from the Rising Starr pitcher, and Megan Eberle followed with a walk of her own, loading up the bases for Hannah Newton.
Hannah came to the plate and lined a pitch into right field, driving in Sydney for a score and staking the Lady Warriors to a 2-1 lead.
Next up to bat was Emily Pauley who, with two strikes against her and the bases still loaded, cranked out a GRAND SLAM HOME RUN to close out the scoring and put the game way out of reach !!!
Congratulations to the Lady Warriors on a great, very exciting win !!!
