NEW 2008 Pitch Count Regulation
Starting in the 2008 season, pitchers in all divisions of Little League, ages 7 - 18, will have specific limits for each game, based on their age. Little League Baseball based their decision on the many arm injuries that can occur with pitching and want to protect your pitcher's arm.
Please feel free to download the pdf and learn more about the new pitch count regulation.

COACHES: Be Aware of Elbow Injuries
Overuse elbow injuries are not uncommon in Little League players and can take months
to heal. In a child age 8 to 13, the elbow anatomy is very different than that of an adult. The
bones are still open at growth centers allowing for separation of the bones if too much
force is placed on the joint.
