About Bomb Squad Softball Organization
Bomb Squad Softball is an ASA girls fast-pitch travel softball organization in Anaheim Hills, consisting of five teams - 2 teams in the 12U division, one team in the 14U division, one team at the 16U divison, and one 18 Gold team. It is our goal to develop highly competitive teams that will make a run at ASA Nationals every year, while developing each of our players to help them reach their potential, and prepare them for the highest level of softball.
In 2004, our first season on the fast-pitch travel softball scene, we consisted of only one 10U team and accomplished many of our goals. We qualified for the 2004 ASA National Championship in Tulsa, OK, the 2004 Triple Crown World Series in Park City, UT and the 2004 USSSA Western Nationals in Riverside, CA. We completed our inaugural season with second place finishes in both the Triple Crown World Series and the USSSA Western Nationals. This team has since moved up to 18 Gold, and has collected two other top ten finishes at national tournaments and placed 33rd (out of 129 teams) at the 2007 14U ASA National Championship in Normal, IL.
In addition, over the past 4 years, Bomb Squad has fielded 9 teams which have competed against some of the top teams in the country. Over the same period of time, Bomb Squad teams have finished in the top 10 in national tournaments 9 times, including 6 top 5 finishes and 4 runner up finishes.
We have since added four more teams to our organization and we are determined to develop our players to be the best that they can be, on and off of the field. Our young ladies learn that through teamwork and having a great work ethic, we can accomplish our goals.
