In 2011, the Boca Jets Optimist Foundation of Boca Raton will be celebrating 50 years of commitment to the development of the boys and girls of Boca Raton. The tackle football teams and the cheerleading squads have provided countless hours of entertainment for our community while they have been given the opportunity to develop valuable life skills such as team work, commitment, self-discipline and a spirit of community service.

The AYFL is changing weights and age groups for the 2008 season. The official age/weight bracket is listed below.
Team Age by 8/31 Max. Weight
PWs 6,7,8 75
90s 9 and under 90
100s 10 and under 100
110s 11 and under 110
120s 12 and under 120
135s 13 and under 135
Unlimiteds 14 and under unlimited
* The above ages are as of 8/31
* After week 3, each player will get an additional 5lbs assuming you make regular weight during the first 3 weeks.
