2009 BMSPL Tournament
All games are posted on the season schedule, but will not affect regular season standings.
NOTE: If you look at it, we are trying to get 2 games in on C diamond on the FRiday night. On the schedule the 2nd game is scheduled for 8pm, however the 2nd game will start on C diamond as soon as the teams are available. We will be waiting for games on B & C to finish before we can start game 2 on C diamond. Sunset on that night is 8:56pm so it will be tight. Can I ask that you inform the umpires of the situation and have them do their best to move those 2 games along ?

IMPORTANT! League Rainout Policy
All teams must show up for their games unless notified by an umpire. The umpire will decide at game time if it is playable. If one team is there and the other team cannot field a team and the game can be played; it will
be considered a forfeit. If the coaches decide to call game before game time .It
must be of mutual consent. A 6:30 cancellation does not mean that all games are cancelled after. Same procedure applies.

BMSPL Donates Tourney Profits to Jo Brant!
The Burlington Major Slo-Pitch League (BMSPL) recently donated proceeds from its annual Summer League Tournament held each July to the Joseph Brant Hospital. This years donation of $1000 will be used in support of the "Bring Dialysis to Burlington" campaign. This brings the total donations from the league to Jo Brant to over $6000 over the past few years, all from the proceeds of its annual tournament. Jo Brant will be recognizing the leagues contributions by placing a plaque in the league's name in the lobby of the hospital.
In the photo attached, BMSPL league representatives Darrin Pirnak (on the left) and Dave Gould (on the right ) flank Ebbe Marquardsen from Joseph Brant Hospital in the middle (VP of Development & Community Relations) to present the most recent donation.
