2009 Blue Ridge Force 12U/7th Grade

12U Qualifies for D1 Nationals!!! 

In its third year, the 12U team swept through pool play and landed the overall Silver Medal for a 2nd place finish in the Maryland State Qualifier Tournament.  With a strong nucleus of girls, the Blue Ridge 12Us continue to improve year by year on their quest to establish themselves as one of the top teams in the mid-Atlantic region.

2008

After posting a 26-6 record against 11U "A", 12U and 13U level teams, the Blue Ridge Force 11U voted to change venues and travel to Orlando FL for the YBOA D1 Nationals.  The girls balanced strong play with lots of fun at the local theme parks for a 7th place national D1 finish.  Congratulations on another fun season as we continue to build and prepare for the exposure tournaments in the coming years.   

2007

Congratulations to the hard-work and dedication of the 10U Force.   After finishing 4th in the Maryland State Qualifier, the young lady Force travelled to Reno, NV where they finished in 5th place for 5th grade AAU teams in the US.  As the youngest Blue Ridge team ever to qualify for Nationals, they now prepare for their second AAU season. 

The 1996 team is coached by Frank McLallen. Entering his 7th year of coaching at Blue Ridge, Coach McLallen has led the 1991 team to D1 Nationals in Dayton, OH and D2 Nashville TN.  In addition to AAU, Coach McLallen has also coached JV girls at Century HS and Liberty HS.
