Great Tournament Experience This Past Weekend
Thanks to all those parents who helped.

Thanks to Charles Smith, Mary Ann Lusty, and David Larry for working scorers' tables.

Thanks to Gwen(sp?) Lewis, Helen Thomas, and Hollis Gordon for shot-charting and providing excellent mid-game and post-game diagnostic materials.

Thanks again to Helen for salvaging our temporary jersey situation.

BBad Sports, when I contacted them Saturday morning, told me that they had dropped the ball and failed to ship our uniforms--even though they received payment last Tuesday. With any luck (and some more prodding), I hope to have uniforms this week. They'll look sharp, and I believe that you'll find them worth the wait.

Practice this week on Friday and Sunday.

Be Quick, But Don't Hurry
"Be quick, but don't hurry."

Basketball, and life, must be played fast, but never out of control.

"If you hurry, you're more likely to make mistakes, but if you're not quick, you won't get things done."

As Blue Raiders, we will practice doing things quickly, just like John Wooden taught us to play the game.
