Southington Lady Knights Volleyball Booster Club What Does the Booster Club Do ? Organize the end of season banquet Purchases end of season gift for players and coaches Help defray cost of team spandex Provide bus transportation to scrimmages Purchase team trophies, plaques and team photos Sell SHS Volleyball merchandise Fund Senior Night Coordinate fundraisers How are Funds Raised ? Bottle Drive, Saturday, September 17th from 9am to 1pm in front of Vo-Ag Building Bowl-a-thon, Sunday, September 25th from 9am to 11:30am. Each player is asked to raise $50 in sponsorships from local businesses, neighbors, friends or family. For those who meet or exceed the goal, their (players) ticket to the end of season banquet will be paid for by the Booster Club. Concession Stand, parents will be assigned home games to cover and merchandise to donate Important Dates Booster club meetings, 9/6, 10/6, November meeting TBD Bowl-a-thon sponsorship due September 23rd Middle School Night TBD Raffle items due by October 3rd, item requests coming soon Dig Pink Event, October 12th Senior Night, October 26th Banquet at Hawks Landing, Wednesday November 30th How can you help ? Volunteer to help at activities Become a committee chairperson or co-chairperson, we still need help in all areas Donate concession stand items such as water, soda, sports drink, bulk candy (not small candy such as Skittles, M&M’s, etc., which can be dangerous on the gym floor. Need to order magazine subscriptions ? You can order from this website under Support Our Team.
