Welcome to the Website for the Bluegrass Chiefs
The Chiefs are the 18U team for the Bluegrass Baseball Club of Northern Kentucly. Founded in 1992, the Bluegrass Chiefs are consistently one of the finest select teams in the state of Kentucky. The goal of the Blugrass Chiefs is simple. That is to provide a means for our players to be recognized and scouted by college coaches from throughout the Midwest Region. We do so by playing the strongest competition possible and traveling throughout the Eastern United States. Well over 250 of our players have gone on to play baseball at the college level in both the NCAA and NAIA.

Cotton Receives SWOL Scholarship
Bluegrasss Chiefs Alum Ronald Cotton has received one of the inaugural Southwest Ohio League Scholarships of $1,000. Ronald will be attending and playing baseball at the University of Cincinnati. We are all extremely proud of Ronald and his accomplishments and we are thrilled he has been chosen to receive this scholarship. We would also like to thank the Southwest Ohio League for providing this kind of opportunity for its players.

Cotton to play at UC
Chiefs outfielder and 2010 Boone County Graduate Ronald Cotton will play his collegiate baseball at the University of Cincinnati. Ronald signed with UC in July and will join another Northern Kentuckian, Zach Isler, on the Bearcats' roster. Congratulations to Ronald and mom Veronica!

Aaron Biddle To Head Brescia University
It is with a great deal of pride that we annouce that former Conner High pitcher and Bluegrass Baseball Club Hall of Famer Aaron Biddle has been chosen as the new Head Baseball Coach at Brescia University. "As a player, Aaron was a hard-nosed, get-after it kid who's heart was always bigger than his ability. He knew how to win and he knew how to compete with the best out there," commented Coach Sanders. "He was a heck of a player and I am absolutely positive he's going to be one heck of a good coach." Biddle takes over the program from Jeff Faulkner who will become the school's full-time Athletic Director. Biddle was graduated from St. Catherine College and Kentucky Wesleyan University. He began his college coaching at the University of Texas at Brownsville before moving on to Brescia. Biddle will coach another former Bluegrass Chief in returning sophomore catcher Corey Moore as well as incoming freshman Alex Hegge.
