We’ve adopted a family for Christmas!

Wrapping date: Friday, December 11th
5 P.M. until finished

This year we have decided to adopt a family from the Christmas Bureau in the spirit of the YMCA core value of caring.  This will be in place of our usual gift exchange between the swimmers at the Christmas party. 

Please take a decoration (or two, or three) off of the tree located in the pool during practice times.  The family we’ve adopted has given us ideas of what kinds of things the children enjoy but not really any specifics for gifts.  If you purchase a gift please include a gift receipt with the item so it can be exchanged in case we receive duplicates.  If you can wrap the presents before bringing them back to the Y that would be great (put the tag & receipt on the outside)!!  There will be boxes by the tree for you to place your items in once you’ve purchase them.  If it is money or a gift card donation you can give it directly to Monica or Betty so it won’t get lost. 

We will then have a wrapping party on the Friday before we deliver to finish up any final shopping or wrapping that may need to be done.  Please consider giving generously in this season of need.
