Handout: Intro to Hockey Blazers Code of Conduct Handout: Code of Conduct DVHL Code of Conduct Where We Are Located The Blazers Ice Hockey club is a member of the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL). Our home ice is the Northeast Flyers Skate Zone, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The DVHL season generally starts in late September, and runs until late February. The Blazers teams' may practice 1 to 2 times a week, and may play 1 to 2 games a weekend. The Blazers can be contacted by emailing one of the Board members. We also have a telephone hotline. Our hotline number is: (215) 602-2209. Note: Blazers team schedules may vary. Mission Statement The Blazers Youth Hockey Associations mission is to provide a grass roots foundation for the growth and development of youth hockey. The youth hockey program will provide a safe, fun, and responsible environment, for the instruction of personal as well as hockey skills and development. Superior sportsmanship and behavior as well as hockey skills will be the major focus of this organization in that order. We offer opportunities for boys and girls, ages 5 through 18, to learn and play competitive hockey. |
