ONLINE REGISTRATION* for the 2011 Swim Season Begins Friday, April 1, 2011!

IMPORTANT DATES & INFORMATION (For your convenience, I am trying to give you as much date information as possible so that you can schedule around swim team functions):
I) The season will kick off on Saturday, April 30th with our 2nd Annual Pot Luck Dinner at 7:00pm @ the BHR Clubhouse.
A) We will have our first Team Meeting
B) Please be prepared to VOLUNTEER for one of the committees! (Or else, we'll be forced to give the word 'volunteer' a new meaning!! :)
II) Practices will begin Monday, May 2 at either Edison Johnson in Durham or the Sportsplex in Hillsborough. More information on practice schedules will come after your registration is complete.
III) We will remain in Division III this year. The 2011 Meet Schedule is:
A) Saturday, June 4 - BHR @ Croisdale (away)
B) Wednesday, June 15 - Vance @ BHR (home)
C) Saturday, June 18 - BHR @ Treyburn (away)
D) Wednesday, June 22 - BHR @ Five Oaks (away)
E) Wednesday, June 29 - Hope Valley Farms @ BHR (home)
IV) Champs will be held on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9 at UNC's Koury Natatorium in Chapel Hill.
A) Fri. July 8 (PM) - 8 & Under
B) Sat. July 9 (AM) - 13 & Under; (PM) - 9 thru 12
V) Registration for the 2011 season begins on Friday, April 1.
A) Online registration is open to BHR residents only from April 1 through April 15.
B) Registration for non-residents will open on April 16.
C) Dates & Times for Walk-up Registration will be announced by Mike & Sarah Neal via email.
VI) Developmental Swimmers are classified as swimmers that are not yet able to swim the length of the pool unassisted
A) Our goal is to provide enough coaching staff to bring back the Developmental Group that we sorely missed last year. This decision is pending and an announcement will be made prior to registration.
VII) We will be introducing a new Swim Suit design this year as well as giving you information to order online!
A) Traditionally, BHR has a '2-year suit' - the 2009/2010 suit is retiring! Please see my previous email to vote on the new suit design.

VIII) CONTEST for swimmers AND parents! We want you to design the BACK of the 2011 BHR Swim Team T-Shirt!
A) Create and Submit your design online: http://t-shirts.classb.com/designs/373827/edit
1) INSTRUCTIONS:
a) Click the link: http://t-shirts.classb.com/designs/373827/edit above, and then
b) Click the green button "Start Designing".
c) When you have finished, click the blue button "Claim Your Design!", then register.
d) You can SHARE your design by choosing it in "My Designs", then
i) Click "edit view"
ii) Name your design in the field "Give your design a name for the public view"
iii) Click "Share"
iv) Copy/paste the HTML or Plain URL code in an email to me: pamiacono@mac.com.
B) The shirts will be yellow/gold. Designs for the back must be one color - and black is probably best with the gold background, but it's up to you.
C) Winning designs will be printed on the T-Shirts, along with artists name.
