18 Wood "Gold Glove" Award
2007-20-#1
Zach Meier (#20), 2007 18W Gold Glove

The 18 Wood "Gold Glove" goes to Zach Meier. Zach was the anchor in the 18W outfield this season, with a Fielding Percentage of .939. On two separate occasions, his diving catches in CF promtped the team he'd just robbed to break into song (Sportscenter theme). And his cannon of an arm gunned down 2 runners who made the mistake of challenging him. Congratulations, Zach.

Honorable Mention:

Bill "Boogie" Sour had 59 putouts this season, and was the only first baseman on 18W to not get picked off on a regular basis by his own pitcher's nasty move. With a Fielding Percentage of .910 (only other player on 18W over .900), he finishes the season a close second for the 18W "Gold Glove" Award.
