Congratulations to both graduating seniors as they were named to the NHSCA Acadmeic All-American teams. They join Anthony Bruno as our third NHSCA All-American this year (Anthony was a 2009 Junior Nationals place-winner).
Nicholas Bryan (Alabama): Finished 62-15 and fifth in Class 6A state tournament at 140 pounds at Bob Jones High School; career record 95-40. Earned 3.61 GPA and scored 29 on the ACT; will attend Auburn University.
Edmund Semmes (Alabama): Finished 58-16 and sixth in Class 6A state tournament at 160 pounds at Bob Jones High School; career record 128-58. Earned 4.03 GPA, scored 31 on the ACT, and ranks in the top 15 per cent of his class; will attend the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Wrestling Workouts will begin Monday June 1st. Wrestlers are required to attend at least two days a week. See the schdule below for your assignments. Each wrestler should bring with them (daily): Wrestling Shoes, head gear, running shoes, a clean towel, and shower gear, and their workout log. Wrestlers are to report to the barn by 8:00AM, and have a ride scheduled to pick them up @ 10:30. Check the website frequently for updates during the summer. All football players should attend a 7:30 Friday Mat Session.

Wrestlers,
Every athlete that wishes to participate in any sport must complete the STAR Sportsmanship on-line course. If the student does not complete this course, they CANNOT participate beginning in August. You may go ahead and complete it, but we will be going to the computer lab as well. If you do complete it now, Coach Edwards needs a printed certificate in his possession.
