The future of Bob Jones High School Football looks bright!
07_FR_CollierWins2
Coach Corey Collier with another Undefeated Season!
Both teams finished off their seasons Monday night, October 22nd at the Bob Jones High School field against Hazel Green under very rainy and wet conditions. Both Bob Jones teams won in the rain. The Bob Jones Freshman team win completed an undefeated season for the Freshman Patriots. The win for the Junior Varsity capped off a 5-1 year. The Bob Jones High School Freshman team, coached by Corey Collier, ended the season 7-0. Most of the games were not even close with four being shutouts. This makes three straight seasons that Coach Corey Collier has not lost a regular season game. His only loss came during a championship game at Hartselle while coaching at Discovery Middle School in which he lost his starting running back to injury. Congratulations to Coach Collier, his staff, Coach Ben Smith and Coach Eric Terrell. Also, congratulations to the JV team who earned three shutouts of their own and appear to be ready to fill spots on the Varsity team that will be opened due to graduation.
