2007 Varsity Gold Discount Card fundraiser is a Big Success!
What are Varsity Gold Discount Cards?
Varsity Gold is the company we use to design and create the credit sized discount card. The discount cards are easy to sell for only $10 because the buyer can use the card as many times as they want until August of 2008. Some people will save $10 in one usage. The sale of the discount cards is by far the football program’s biggest fundraiser. The sales goal for this year was 3800 cards and we sold over 3900 for the second straight year. If you didn't get a card and still want one, we still have a few left. Just contact the front desk at Bob Jones High School and ask for Lisa Parkes.

Bob Jones Touchdown Club website wins $250 from eteamz
gold_medal
MADISON, Alabama – September 7, 2005 – The Bob Jones Touchdown Club Web site was recently chosen as an epointz contest winner by eteamz (www.eteamz.com), the popular team and league Web site building service from The Active Network, Inc. A viral marketing program developed by eteamz, epointz was designed to fuel healthy competition among eteamz members and reward teams that are actively involved in using eteamz Web tools and spreading the word about eteamz benefits. Selected from a competitive pool of eteamz Web sites, the Bob Jones Touchdown Club racked up epointz by attracting players, coaches and friends to their site, boosting site visits, and getting the word out about the many tools that an eteamz Web site offers. Each month, six eteamz sites are chosen to receive the epointz cash bonus, which can then be used to buy equipment, uniforms, or to fund league projects. “The epointz program is a great extra from eteamz. With the epointz prize money, we will be able to purchase some much needed equipment or services for our team that we wouldn’t have been able to fund otherwise,” explained Tim Sutherland, Bob Jones Touchdown Club President. “Our eteamz Web site not only offers some cool features for our players and families, it has also attracted daily hits from other teams hoping to get started with eteamz tools.” According to Gregg Vincent, eteamz Community Manager, "As our Web sites are utilized mostly by non-profits, the epointz program gives our customers a shot at winning some big bucks to help out their organization. It’s a very viral program with over 94% of our teams and leagues participating in epointz. It’s a real pleasure to provide extra cash to these organizations for uniforms, equipment, scholarships, and more.”
