Tiger Shark swim team offers students year-round training sessions, which are held daily after school and, for the stronger swimmers, in the mornings and evenings. Depending on the ability level and strength of each swimmer these sessions last for either one hour or one and a half hours.

 The emphasis for team swimmers is placed on ‘PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT’, an overall attitude of fairness towards others and the desire to strive for ‘excellence’.

We want the swimmers to take the sport seriously but we try to make the experience positive and enjoyable.  Being part of the team and having fun while working toward common goals are important experiences for all students.  

To compete in swim meets and championships to better their ‘personal best time’ is more important to their wellbeing than the actual winning of the race, or beating another swimmer.
