The Birmingham Unified Youth Football Organization (BUYFO) was created in 2005 to meet our community's longstanding need for recreational youth football & cheerleading programs.  The BUYFO is part of the Northern Youth Football League (NYFL).  We play and cheer against established teams from Clarkston, Lake Orion, Lapeer, Auburn Hills, Brandon, Waterford, Pontiac, and Oxford.  Patriots home games are played at Groves and Seaholm High Schools.

As a reminder, the 2009 Patriots Football Banquet will be held this Sunday, 11/22, at Glen Oaks Country Club in Farmington Hills.  Doors open at 11am, lunch will begin shortly thereafter, followed by the awards ceremony.  We will also have “Spirit Wear” for sale, so it’s not too late to get geared up for next season!

As part of the Patriots’ growing tradition of giving back to our community, we will also be sponsoring a food drive for the Grace Centers of Hope.  The food supplies requested are very simple.  Based on the first letter of your last name, please bring the following to the banquet (large, bulk sizes are appreciated!):

• Spaghetti Sauce –any type (Last name: A-E)
• Canned Tuna – any type (Last name: F-H)
• Canned Chicken/meat – any type (Last name: I-K)
• Non-perishable Juice/Kool Aid/Drink mix – any flavor (Last name: L-M)
• Salad Dressing/Oil (Last name: N-Q)·
• PET Milk/Condensed – (Last name: R-S)·
• Any type of Pasta (Last name: T-V)
• Nacho Cheese sauce (Last name: W-Z)

We ask everyone's help in keeping the event fun but organized and orderly.  Parents, please sit with your players/cheerleaders, instead of "players only" tables.  We also ask for your help in keeping things organized during the meal service (don't go up to the buffet until your table is called), and in making sure your child(ren) are focused on the presentations
