Jim N' Nicks BMBL Classic
The Birmingham Metro Baseball League is proud to announce that the Jim N' Nicks BMBL Classic is almost here. The two-day tournament will take place at Spain Park Sports Complex (click for directions). The bulk of the games will take place on Saturday May 13th, with two "if-necessary games" and the championship game on Mother's Day, May 14th (bracket attached below).

There will be a pre-party at Jim 'N Nicks (click for directions) on 280 near Greystone on Friday May 12th from 8pm till 10pm; everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Attending is a great way to support our sponsors and have a little fun!

We would like to remind you that this tournament is about FUN and promoting our league. The stats and standings will not count. All the games with exception of the championship games will be 4-inning games with a 1.5 hour time limit. The championship game will be a 7 inning game with a 2.5 hour time limit.

We are selling t-shirts (see the Handouts link for art files on the t-shirts) and Jim 'N Nicks is providing a large amount of food at lunch- so we will be selling that as well. Evans meats is also providing steak sandwiches around dinner time which will also be on sale. Red bull will be passing out water and red bull for a portion of the day. This will be a family friendly environment and should turn out to be a great day at the ballpark, so please FORWARD this to your friends and family in order to promote competitive adult baseball in Birmingham.

This is an important fund raiser for our league and the AG Gaston Boys and Girls Club. We are going to contribute proceeds from the tournament to the Rookie League baseball program for underpriveleged youth in Birmingham.

If anyone has any questions, pass them on to Jarred or Kris or post a bulletin board message. Thanks for all your help in making this league happen!

{We are a non-profit organization and rely on the generous contributions of our players and most importantly the community. If you would like to give to the Birmingham Metro Baseball League or to any of their community projects, CLICK HERE}
