American Metal Processing Company (AMP) is well established as a one of the nation’s largest commercial rotary heat treat facilities. Since 1945, AMP has provided the highest quality service available in the heat treatment of parts for the automotive, construction, and agricultural industries as well as aircraft and military applications. Our technological advancements and proprietary equipment upgrades assure remarkable uniformity and minimal distortion on a wide variety of parts. The unique design of the continuous rotary retort furnace utilizes a protective atmosphere both inside and outside of the retort, which can achieve reproducible results with greater uniformity of case, consistent hardness, and decreased distortion. These characteristics clearly give rotary technology a distinct advantage over competing heat treating techniques.
