Billerica Little League: League Messages

The Umpire Clinic for the 2010 Billerica Little League season will begin on November 17, 2009.  The course is open to players that will be at least 12 years old on April 30, 2010.  The course will be broken up into two sessions.  The first session will cover the basic rules of Little League and run until December 15th.   This session is designed primarily for first year umpires but anybody is welcome.  Participants must attend at least 4 of these sessions and pass a written test to receive their Little League Umpire Certification.  The training will take place at the Little League Condo.  The condo is located at 330 Boston Rd, Unit 10 (behind Sal’s Pizza).

The second session will be held in the spring and include game situations.  The schedule for the second session will be published after the New Year.  Previously certified umpires must attend these follow up sessions.   The course is free to residents of Billerica.
