Bainbridge Island Little League:Volunteers
Volunteering

Attention Little League Parents:

Imagine a little league for your children with unsafe fields, too few coaches, confusing try outs, no uniforms, no snack shack, no umpires, and you will imagine a little league without volunteers. To keep Bainbridge Island’s program of 800 plus children running, your help is necessary. The jobs can be fun, you’ll meet families in the community, and you’ll set a great example for our children by showing them the importance of community service.

Given that most children in our league will be at the fields for an average of 50 plus hours, it should not be difficult to understand the amount of work necessary. Board Members, Managers, and Coaches often volunteer over 150 hours of their time per season. The average volunteer job is a small fraction of that commitment. The reward for all volunteers is not only helping to build a better community-based program, but watching the children enjoy the experience of participating in a first-rate program.

Please study the positions available and be prepared with your choices when you register. We will do everything possible to assign jobs according to your interest indicated. Thank you for helping to make our organization the best it can be.
