EAST ALABAMA BIG TRAIN: Welcome
|
HISTORIC IGNAUGURAL SEASON
The East Alabama Big Train plays in the 12 member Great South League formerly known as the Georgia Collegiate League formed by the Georgia Dugout Club to commence play in the summer of 2006. Within just two short seasons the league has been recognizesd Nationally by ESPN Magazine as one of the top 20 Summer Wooden Bat Leagues in the Nation. Today, the Big Train has under contract 26 collegiate athletes whom not only excel on the baseball diamond, but also in the classroom with six current Honor Students represented on the roster. It is our hope that the Big Train players will be excellent role models for the youth of all East Alabama. The Big Train staff is excited to be playing in Jacksonville, Ala., and looks forward to a sold out crowd for all the home games at Henry Farm Park. Come join us and bring your favorite lawn chair. Admission is $5 and kids 12 and under enter for free.
Respectfully
