Team Big Top took their 47-4 record and moved over to the Lowell Sunday Night Coed Softball League. Heroes Uniform Supply in Lowell is now thw new sponsor. The Lowell league is a 10 team league that was formed in November of 2003. Anyone interested in our league should check out the site! |

***League kicks Big Top out of league***
The league President has informed manager Bobby Cooper that he and his entire team not return to the league next year.
The league President in an email wrote(October 4):
"Bobby,
As you probably guessed this is the official notice that you are not
being asked back next year. I'm sure that you can hook up with another league, one that will probably give you more competition than this league did.
Good luck in your new league I'm sure you will kick butt there as well.This has to do with either replacing one team or three or four teams in order to keep this a 10 team league. Three or four teams were not going to return next year if big top
did, ayotte's was not one of those teams. It was a business decision and nothing more. It is easier to replace one than to replace three or four teams. Good luck in your new league i'm sure you will kick butt there as well.
BIG TOP STATEMENT:We were 47-4 in the two years I ran the team and I hope that is not the reason we are not being asked back. We are not professional softball players. We all have regular jobs and play to win with a serious approach.
I find it hard to believe that 4 teams, that's 50-60 people would end their softball careers if 1 team, a group of 15 decent individuals, showed up every Sunday to play in this league. There are no other co-ed leagues in the area on Sunday night so it's not like any team in this league has anywhere to go other than this league. If these 4 teams had problems with our team then how come we were never informed or confronted to resolve any problems anyone had? Six teams since 2001 are no longer in this league, I now wonder why. We do not want to leave this great league but now have no choice. What disappoints me most is that I sponsored this league for 3 years and I am told by an email that me and my entire team are kicked out! I just want to thank my team and the league for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the greatest team, on and off the field, I have ever been a part of. It was fun!!! Best Regards, Bobby. |

| If a team has a problem with a team the league should step in and investigate and try and resolve the problem not send an email out to notify a team that they are kicked out. 6 teams have left the league in the last 26 months. I hope your league can fill up this season. Intrest in this leagueisnt what it use to be. We almost went with 8 teams this year. Good luck Joe and I still feel we were unfairly kicked out. |

| for the record bobby it was not just one source as you have put it,was more of a coaches vote on this issue though personally it sucks to lose a very competitive team like bigtop from the league i wish you and all your players best of luck in the new league im sure you will do just as well there as you have the last 2 in this league thanks for a fun competitive 2yrs big joe |

| Thanks dminusrod! Dont worry we wont beat your team anymore like we have in the past 2 years. haha! We have joined a new league. One that doesnt have 1 source make all the rules. You won and congratulations on your 2004 league title. I hope your proud and happy you muscled us out. You hide behind everyone and get us thrown out and now you hide behind everyone and make this post. You think you won, no we won! haha |

Thank you all for 2 great years in the league. I enjoyed playing with all of the teams in Nashua and appreciated the welcome I received from everyone. The league gave me something to look forward to on my Sundays and I just want to thank everyone involved. It is unfortunate that Big Top Party Rental will not be back next year, but thanks again to everyone for letting me compete with them
