Oh What a time they're having
The kids are having a great time. They have been playing well and often. Over the past three months the program has grown to four boys teams 11u, 12u,14u, high school division and a girls high school division team. The teams played in local leagues and played in several tournaments. The teams have visited various cities that they would not have had an opportunity to visit without outlet that playing basketball provides. The kids have been to Palm Springs, Long Beach, the City of Orange, San Diego, Bakersfield and Fullerton during these summer months.
The program has progressed to acheiving standings in consolation bracket championships, tournament third place finishes, second place finishes, and tournament championships. The kids have never forgotten their beginnings when no teams were able to get past the premliminary brackets but remembering, that it was not just the wins and losses but how hard they played that mattered. They never hung their heads and gave up, instead they have made efforts to steadily improve their work habits on and off the court and have gotten more favorable results.
The program hopes to continue providing fun and excitement for the kids of the program by hosting a Back To School tournament for them. You can find more information about the tournament, the program, and the kids on the teams other website by clicking the links bar on the main menu bar. Thanx for your interest
