Winter Indoor Clinics
ALL Winter clinics will be held at the Pocono Mountain Jr High School Auxiliary Gymnasium
Indoor Winter clinics begin this weekend: the schedule is as follows:
Friday, February 24th from 6PM-8PM for softball ages 7-10
Saturday, February 25th from 2PM-3:30Pm for baseball ages 11-12
Saturday, February 25th from 3:30PM-5:00PM for baseball ages 8-10
Saturday, February 25th from 5:00PM-7:30PM for softball ages 11-12
Sunday, February 26th from 2-4:00Pm for baseball ages 13-16
Sunday February 26th from 4:00Pm - 6PM softball ages 13-16
Any parent wishing to coach or become an assistant coach, please attend the appropriate time slot for practice. We will need help in order to make these clinics successful.
Big Pocono Little League
Serving Residents of Jackson and Pocono Townships
The objective of Big Pocono Little League is to provide an opportunity for all boys and girls ages 5 through 16 to participate meaningfully in the sport of baseball/softball, to learn the rules and strategies of the game, to learn sportsmanship and respect for their fellow players and coaches and to have fun. The children of the Little League community will be exposed to the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens. All Directors, Officers, and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
