-All soccer fields are at the Becker Athletic Complex. Take Hwy 10 to Becker. Turn right on Sherburne Avenue (by Sherburne Bank). Go about 1/2 mile and turn right at Myhre Street (you will see a sign for the Becker Athletic Complex). Also, this street is between the mobile home park and Faith Lutheran Church. The fields will be about 1 block up. Park in the large gravel lot. Fields are in the baseball outfields.

The Big Lake Soccer Association (BLSA) objective is to provide the opportunity for boys and girls to play soccer at a fun and recreational level. We are dedicated to developing sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and physical skills through soccer in all players.
The game: The small-sided game modifications are made for the recreational program. The size of the playing field, players per side, size of the ball and the goal is reduced in size to match the size of the players. Small-sided games are favored for the following reasons:
1. Skill development is enhanced because of frequent contact on the ball.
2. Fast-acting fun with more actual playing time and real game action.
3. Excitement is promoted by less time to achieve or advance the ball towards the goal.
4. Exercise is key since players play both offense and defense.
5. The available field space is better maximized to serve all youth.
