Big East Middle School Wrestling |

The Big East Middle School Wrestling League is an association of approximately 50 teams throughout Massachusetts. Member clubs host tournaments, dual meets and scrimmages from December through March.

Big East Finals @ Malden HS Sunday February 8th
Pre-registration for all Gold and Silver wrestlers is mandatory!
E-mail the Gold/Silver roster confirmation to shenrybigeast@hotmail.com or fax to 978-686-0772 before noon on Saturday.
Bracket sheets for the Gold and Silver events will be prepared Saturday and be on the walls at Malden at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Wrestling will start at 7:45 on 12 half-mats. All brackets will use 4-man round robin format.
This group will be done by 10:00 a.m.
The Bronze and Copper kids will register on site starting at 10:30-11:30 and wrestling will start at 1:00 p.m. All brackets will use the 4-man round robin format. This group will be done by 4:30.
We will use the weightd recorded from the regional events. If your wrestler did not wrestle last week ans is entering the Gold/Silver Tournament, we need you to submit his weight to us via the pre-registration. These wrestlers will weigh in on Sunday and be given a two pound allowance. If they are over, they will not wrestle.
Coaches, don’t assume your Gold and Silver wrestlers will attend: confirm it with them. Wrestlers not attending but registering will screw up a bracket so we will deduct 1 team point each time this occurs. Your cooperation is necessary

BIG EAST CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TYNGSBOROUGH: 1999 AND LATER BIRTHDAYS
Where: Tyngsborough High School.
When: Saturday, February 7, 2009.
Registration is between 7:30-8:30 AM. Registration closes at 8:30 AM Sharp. No late arrivals will be allowed in the tournament. All wrestlers must register on Saturday or they will not be entered into the tournament.
Weigh-ins. Weigh-ins will be held during registration between 7:30-8:30 AM. Weigh-ins are required only for wrestlers who either did not participate in the regionals this past weekend, or for wrestlers whose card from the past weekend we cannot locate.
Spectator Fees. $5.00 per adult 19 years and older. If under 19, no charge.
