19 CATAGORIES IN THE STATE RECORDS BOOK, HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT FACTS ARE FACTS. WOW!
2 Weeks of Record Breaking Performances
Although our Campers had a 500% year, the team did manage to break, add to and tie some of the most unique football records in Maryland High School football.
The game with Westmar and the 50 - 49 victory, set a new school record for points in a single game. One that had been around since 1992 vs. Chestnut Ridge and 95 points. Well, you say that's not bad at all. So the following week, Allegany takes on the Victor Cullen Colts at Greenway. Those of us that witnessed this.....uuummmm....football game....or was it an assault!, witnessed several new records set in a game that ended up with a final score of 70 - 41 Allegany victory.
The first record set was Shannon Millers tieing the State Record for most touchdowns and points scored in a single football game. Shannon is in elite company with 4 other athletes with 7 TD's and 42 points scored in a single game.
The next records broken were the most points scored in a game in the entire State of Maryland. The old record was 100 Points when St. James vs. Harpers Ferry, WV back in 1925. A 75 year old record. With Allegany vs. Victor Cullen's 111 points, thats a new record.
Also, a new record was set and also broke the same 75 year old record set in the St. James/Harpers Ferry game was most touchdowns in a single game. The old St. James record is 15 TD's in a game, the Campers new record is now 16 set vs. Victor Cullen.
Also, just a note. The Allegany vs. Westmar game also made the record book in that, if the Allegany/VC game hadn't happened, Alco/Westmar would of been the 2nd most points scored just behind St. James. However, with the Victor Cullen game, it is now 3rd place with 99, just behind Alco/VC and 111, St.James/Harpers Ferry and 100 and now Alco vs. Westmar....99!
Millers record wasn't even cold yet, and along comes Sellers

| 7 TD's and 42 points vs. Beall |
Only 72 hours after Shannon Miller had his Career Game vs. Victor Cullen, Sellers made his statement in a big way.
Jeremy broke the State record for points scored in a single game with 44 points scored and tied the same record Shannon tied with 7 touchdowns. How did he do it, Sellers had 7 TD runs of 67, 15, 46, 53, 57, 8 and 15 yards for the 7 TD's. He broke the record of points in a game when he (unwittingly at the time) scored on a 2 point conversion on his first TD.
So there you have it. One minute you hold a record, 72 hours later, your not or tied.
GO FIGURE!!!
