Biddeford American Legion: Welcome
Thank you to all for a successful 2012 baseball season! Both the Junior
and Senior Legion teams were very competitive and were able to play
against some very good competition. We hope to continue the development
of our players this season and the future.
Biddeford American Legion consists of 2 American Legion Baseball teams. Senior Legion is for ages 19 and under and consists mostly of upperclassmen. The
Junior Legion team will be for players 17 and under and will consist of
mostly 9th graders along with some 8th and 10th graders. Junior
Legion will be run similar to our Varsity and JV program. Legion
baseball gives players the opportunity to play highly competitive games
outside of the regular school season. Senior and Junior Legion
consists of 18 regular season games followed by the playoffs.
Typically, games are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a double
header on Saturday.
We will be holding Senior and Junior Legion tryouts on Friday, May 17th @ 3:00 @ St. Louis Field
Biddeford
Babe Ruth has agreed to return the registration fee for players who
make the Junior Legion team and do not wish to play Babe Ruth. Players
should strongly consider signing up for Babe Ruth in the result of not
making the Junior Legion team.
