As I noted in January, the BHSR has made its final run. The plans right now are to leave the site up because a couple of organizations have use for the site to post about meetings and upcoming events. There will be some sturctural changes when my contract to keep eteamz ads off the site ends toward the end of the year.
For those who may yearn for my reporting of Barbers Hill sports, you will still have an option beginning in the fall. I will be doing photography and writing for a new magazine called "Texas High School All-Sports, Inc". The only catch is what was once free will now be available via a subscription. Hopefully the years I have harvested with this site will pay off in monetary rewards as I try to make it through the golden years. The magazine will be a monthly edition with a weekly newsletter sent out with highlights. The plan is not only to have articles on all the current sporting events but features as well.
To help introduce the magazine to the public, there will be a Kick-Off Special for inaugral subcribers with a price of $49.95. This will include 11 issues (July-August combined) and a weekly newsletter through December. After December, the news letter will come out once in the middle of the month.
So, click on the above banner to begin your coverage of high school sports unlike any print coverage in the Houston area.
