Welcome to the 2009 Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake

Spartan Pop Warner website!

 The July Board Meeting will be held on July 30th at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting location is at the Town of Ballston Town Hall on Charlton Road in the upstairs meeting room. Please join us and become an active member of YOUR association!! 

                              We need and welcome your ideas!!

LATE REGISTRATION:  You will be subject to a $20 late registration fee.  Kindergarten - the fee is waived.

 

IMPORTANT DATES 

FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT/PAPERWORK NIGHT:  July 13th 6-8 p.m. at Indian Meadows - - all paperwork as well as the $200.00 deposit check is to be handed in at this time or your son will not be able to get his equipment.  There is an exception for medical forms, but this form needs to be in coach hands by the first practice.  Please stop at the entrance building for paperwork before proceeding to the shed. 

FIRST AID/CPR/AED CLASS FOR COACHING STAFF:  July 16th at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Town of Ballston Town Hall.  Please make sure to sign up in advance with Sean Gnat.  We are suggesting two reps from each team, but at least one staff member must be certified. 

CHEER UNIFORM/PAPERWORK NIGHT:  July 22nd at the Town of Ballston Town Hall on Charlton Road from 6-8 p.m. 

MANDATORY COACH TRAINING:  This is in place of the coach training normally held at SUNY Albany, and it is mandatory for all staff to attend; coach staff and commissioners (no team parents).  There will be clinic forms to fill in that we must hand in to Capital District - - if you do not attend one of these sessions, unfortunately, you will not be able to be on the practice or game field this season. 

DATES ARE:

July 28th – Town of Ballston Town Hall – 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

August 4th – Town of Ballston Library – 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

DIVISION AGES and WEIGHTS (age as of July 31st)

No weight limit for cheer participants

FLAG/CUBBIE:  ages 5-7, No Weight Limit

MITEY MITE:  ages 7-9,  45-90 lbs

JUNIOR PEEWEE ages 8-10,  60-105 lbs. - - (older/lighter) age 11* 60-85 lbs.

PEEWEE ages 9-11,  75-120 lbs. - - (older/lighter) age 12* 75-100 lbs.

JUNIOR MIDGET ages 10-12,  85-135 lbs. - - (older/lighter) age 13* 85-115 lbs.
