BGRA Concession Stand Policies
All members are required to work an approximate 2-1/2 hour shift in the
concession stand for each player enrolled in the program.
Assignments will be determined by the concession stand committee and
will be communicated through the team managers.
A sign-in sheet will be present in the concession stand at the time of
each assignment. Concession workers are required to sign in on that
shifts attendance log to ensure proper credit.
It is the members' responsibility to cover their assigned concession
shift. In the case of unavoidable conflicts, the assigned member should
provide a substitute by trading dates with fellow team members or other
BGRA members. Substitutes must still sign in on that shifts attendance
log.
Those members who chose to pay an additional $75 non-participation fee
at time of registration, will not be scheduled to work. Any
member who does not work their shift, or did not pre-pay this fee, will
be fined $150.00. This fine must be paid prior to any future
registration. Any pre-registered players will be given 30 days to pay
any fines or their pre-registration will be returned to them.
Concession stand assignments for All-Star events and for Traveling Teams
will be staffed by families of players participating in those
activities. These dates occur in addition to any regular season
obligations, and are not subject to payment in lieu of work. Any
members unwilling to work the concession stand during these events will
disqualify their child from participating in them.
The Concession Stand Committee understands that emergencies do arise.
Conflicts for vacations, weddings, etc. must be brought to the attention
of the committee at least 3 weeks prior to your assigned date in order
to obtain a replacement if you are unable to do so first.
Please, no children are allowed in the concession stand under the
age of 16 years old, due to insurance regulations.
